Looking Back - A Letter from Our CEO

As we reflect on the past twelve months, it is remarkable to see how swiftly the year has unfolded. At Ethnic Technologies, our 2025 theme has been ‘ELEVATE’ - and it has been at the centre of everything we’ve done.

We are grateful for the opportunity to expand our partnerships across Europe, including new markets in Iberia and Eastern Europe. Twelve months on, our already well-oiled machine is operating with even greater precision, sophistication, and cohesion. Over the course of the year, we were privileged to be appointed to 15 exceptional new projects across four countries, further enriching our global portfolio of luxury developments.

Looking ahead, 2026 promises even more. We’ll be entering new regions - Albania, Kosovo, and Iraq - contributing to landmark hospitality and multi‑purpose developments.

Our London and Portugal teams will continue to lead on innovating projects in France, Spain, and Portugal. Following a busy year in Cape Town, where we delivered three major projects for blue-chip clients, our South African team will soon begin work on a 422-key, five-star hotel for a long-standing private property client in the region.

In the Seychelles, 2025 marked significant milestones with the delivery and opening of the Cheval Blanc hotel, as well as major progress on the Seafront Development precinct, which will welcome guests in 2026. 

West Africa has experienced substantial growth in hospitality and industrial development this year, and we are proud to support several hotels, a hospital, and three major factories in Cameroon and Nigeria. And in Zanzibar, we’re continuing our involvement in a dynamic new hotel project that reflects the region’s renewed investment.

Our people remain at the heart of our success. This year, we’ve celebrated outstanding accomplishments driven by the dedication, creativity, and resilience of our exceptional global team. We were also pleased to welcome three new team members across our Cape Town and Portugal offices, further strengthening our capabilities.

Equally, within 2025, as a company we have embraced the power of AI. This has helped us significantly accelerate the production of project deliverables while enhancing the precision and consistency of our outputs.

By integrating advanced AI‑driven tools into our workflows, we’ve streamlined design processes, improved resource planning, and reduced turnaround times, without compromising quality. Alongside this, we’ve invested in world‑class AI training programs to ensure our teams remain agile and ahead in a rapidly evolving environment. This commitment allows us to innovate faster while upholding the high standards of excellence that shape our work across global projects.

2025 has been a busy and remarkable year for Ethnic Technologies. Together, we’ve expanded into new regions, grown our global impact, and positioned ourselves for continued success. We are deeply grateful to our valued clients and the exceptional professional teams we collaborate with - partners who enable us to showcase our expertise across iconic buildings, smart cities, and prestigious hospitality developments worldwide.
